Frost Design was tasked with rebranding the Historic Houses Trust (HHT) as Sydney Living Museums, aiming to “unlock stories” of Sydney’s living heritage. The rebrand included a new visual identity using a key device that interlocks the letters ‘S’, ‘L’, and ‘M’ from the new name, symbolizing access to the historic homes.
The logo is paired with a stacked typographic wordmark, capitalized and drawn in the modern sans-serif font, Sofia Pro, which reinforces the clean, contemporary aesthetic. The rebrand focuses on making history more interactive and engaging by emphasizing participation in Sydney’s heritage rather than a traditional educational approach.
