Can I use web fonts for my clients’ websites?

Yes, you can use web fonts for your clients' websites, but certain conditions apply. The licenses allow the use of fonts as long as the website remains under your management and is hosted according to the provider's terms.
However, starting from December 31, 2019, web fonts used for client websites must be loaded directly from their own Adobe Creative Cloud subscription to ensure proper license attribution and avoid any service interruption.
For more details, please refer to the full Terms of Use, especially regarding commercial use and reselling the service.

I use a font with my Adobe CC account for my documents and my web site, but do I need a separate license to use the font in an app?

Yes. You will need a separate license (app license) to cover this usage. The subscription to your Adobe Creative Cloud account does not allow for displaying fonts in an app. The cost of your license will depend on the number of fonts you wish to use and the number of installations for your app.

Is there a limit to the number of monthly page views for websites using fonts from the foundry with your Adobe CC account?

No. There are no limitations on the number of monthly page views for web fonts hosted through your Adobe Creative Cloud subscription.

Is it possible for me to host the web font files on my own server?

No, Adobe does not provide the option to host fonts locally. If you wish to host your web font files, you will need to acquire the appropriate license for this usage.

What happens to my files and the display of my website if I cancel my Adobe CC subscription?

By suspending your Adobe account, you will generally lose access to the synchronized fonts associated with that account. As a result, you will no longer be able to use these fonts in your projects or display them on your website. If you require a perpetual license that meets your typographic needs, you can purchase a license through one of our resellers.
